I have really dry and curly hair and have not always done the best decisions when it comes to... taking good care of my hair but at Delilah's with Adrian's help I have learned how to make my hair look great by taking care of it the right way. It's not only the hair cutting that is amazing at Delilah its the way Adrian teaches you how to take care of your hair that makes it a total package. Let me tell you my experience:The first times Adrian saved my hair was when I had lived in Townsville for a while and had made some not very smart choices and bleached my hair, (*making it apear almost yellow). I was so desperate and really needed help. My hair... smells a bit weird when wet but otherwise the texture of my hair is so much better than expected - it's like my own hair texture but better! The staff are very down to earth and chill. Had my first keratin treatment done at Delilah this morning, with Brydie (apologies if I've got the... name wrong). She was friendly and professional - asking what I wanted to achieve to make sure it was the right treatment for me, discussing after care treatment etc. Loved the little touches like offering me a drink, magazines etc. Also had another hairdresser take away my cup and asked if I needed anything else. I had a super terrible cut and colour before I first saw Adrian, he rectified it perfectly, and each cut and colour thereafter has been more amazing than the last. I’d had a terrible cut elsewhere and felt really crushed until I booked in with Adrian at Delilah.... Oh My Gawd! He’s FABULOUS! He listened to everything I wanted (and didn’t want) then gave me the most amazing cut and treatment I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot)! It’s shorter and funkier than ever but he also picked a style that *suits me* and my face and body shape. Not only do I look different but I feel differently about myself too- all from a great haircut by a great hairdresser that made me feel 100% at ease. Adrian’s been doing fab things with hair and people for 20+ years and it shows. 11 years ago i started my hairdressing career, myself and Claire was the aprentices back in our... home town in the UK and ironically we both now live in Melbourne. We had excessive ongoing training with a very high skilled boss who has 40+ years experience and still is in the industry. Claire is always on her game when it comes to the industry, with 12+ years experience her knowledge when we catch up still blows my mind. I have curly hair and was very nervous about coming as my last experience in a different... hairdressers was terrible, leading me to try and DIY which made it even worse.I felt very at ease and the whole environment was very nice. You could tell a lot of the customers were regulars.Couldn't be more impressed with both the colour and cut, if actually looked longer than when I went in!Great place & hairdressers will definitely come back.read more

This is my first visit to Delilah and after seeing all those awesome instagram pictures, I knew I... just had to go in to experience it myself. And boy was I NOT the slightest disappointed at all! Walking in, I was greeted by all the friendly staffs and Adrian, my hairdresser, is not only very knowledgeable in his line of work, he is also full of passion about making beautiful hair. As I watched him work through the mirror, I see an artist at work with brilliant fire of concentration in his eyes as he works his strokes with scissors and comb. Nevertheless, he was still able to converse and provide great customer service which really speak volumes about his professionalism. And the end result of my 'drycutting' experience is absolutely satisfying and fabulous! :D It was worth taking the bus and train into Brunswick East for my haircut! <3read more

I went to Delilah Hair Studio to get my hair permenantly straightened and I was more than... impressed! I have very curly hair so I was definitely worried doing the process for starters but the consultation that we had before which included testing the product on my hair put me at ease! On the day of the actual process all of my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable and looked after. My hair has been transformed!!I went to Delilah Hair Studio thinking that permanently straighten... hair would be the answer to my crazy curly, dry and unmanageable hair! After booking a consultation with Adrian, he advised me that permanent straightening would not be the right outcome for my hair. Instead he recommended a Keratin smoothing treatment, so I followed through on his advice and I’m so thrilled I did! He handed me to Chloe (with brown hair – there are two Chloe’s in the salon) who thankfully had a cancellation during the time I was there. She preformed the treatment and it has done wonders to my hair (thanks Chloe, mwah)!! Where has this treatment been all my life?! My hair looks amazing, shining and frizz-free! I’m so incredibly grateful that Adrian had convinced me that Keratin would be the better option for my hair. And as for Chloe who gave me all those amazing tips on how to care for my hair… guys, I cannot thank you both enough! I will definitely be back! xread more

I discovered Delilah Hair Studio which had a great Website and was situation close to my home, so I took a chance and booked an appointment. Well it turned out to be one of the best things that I've done. Finally, I found a Curly Cutter who listened and knew exactly what to do and what was needed to compliment my curls. I'd never experienced Dry Cutting before but it was truly amazing and I also appreciated the tips and advice along the way. I don't recall the name of the lovely lady that did the chemical straightening on my hair, she was... from the UK originally! She was absolutely lovely and did an amazing job on my hair. The customer service she provided was 10/10 and the way she explained the entire process made me feel so comfortable throughout the 3-4hours. All staff approached me with a hello and the salon was very tidy and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend!read more

I had a hair cut a month ago with Adrian! I have really thick,black and frizzy hair! Also very... damaged too for some reason! Adrian suggested me to have a keratin treatment! Pleasant welcoming staff and atmosphere. As I don't venture to the hairdressers very often due to... previous visits to salons and them having trouble with clients that have curly hair. I leave unhappy and unsatisfied with the job done. Hands down the best salon I've been to (and i'm pretty fussy)!! These guys are experts - really... know what they're doing and what will work for you. A lot of salons can be pretty intimidating but the staff here are SUPER friendly (as are the clients) and you can just have a glass of wine, chat and relax in knowing they will do exactly what you ask for but also suggest something new if you feel like it. I had a great experience!! I went to get my hair cut from Chloe (I think?!) and was getting a new... cut from very long hair to a short bob.The hair cut was the best I've had in years. She really understood my curly hair (for example cutting it dry to see the actual length with the curl) and took the time to make it perfect. I had a big cut, washed and blow dried. It took just over an hour and best of all only cost me $80 which is a steal compared to anywhere else I go.Loved this place and will definitely be back.read more

Adrien and I have shared many a hair moment over the years, mostly luscious long... extensions.Unfortunately I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2014 and those gorgeous blonde locks fell away.He has worked to cover my patchy bald spots and uneven hair growth and has still managed to make something out of nothing for the longest time. I went to Delilah specifically because I wanted my hair thermo-straightened (Japanese straightened,... permanently straightened, etc.) and I'd read very solid reviews about those results from this salon.So a bit of back story: I'm one of these Asians (Vietnamese) who was born NOT blessed with a gorgeously thick coarse weather-proof stick straight mane but a fine, fuzzy-in-humidity, curly-underneath-but-wavy-on-top, sad bag of locks. I'd had this permanent straightening procedure done like 8 years ago in the states and looooved it, so decided to give it another go when I relocated here to Melbs.Best decision ever.Yes, it takes forever (but you can't get around that, there are so many parts to the process, about which you can Google the details), but the stylists were so kind and helpful that the time just flew by... Excellent (and I do mean EXCELLENT - stylists who were with other clients would ask me how I was doing) customer service aside, a person who gets this straightening done can't really tell how well it's taken until after that 72 hour mark, when we're able to wash our hair. So here I am, 3 days later, post wash, and my hair is - seriously, and I hated my hair most days - awesome. Air-dried straight and (with some simple leave-in treatment I got from the chemist) shiny, silky and touchable.A+. And if you're not interested in the Japanese straightening, i can tell you this much - in the almost 5 hours I was sitting in that salon, I saw several happy (and from what I gathered, repeat) customers leaving with amazing cut and color jobs. ��read moreRobyn Sherring

I can’t begin to explain how excited I am to have found Delilah Hair Studio, I am lucky enough to... have a head full of hair which I am extremely grateful for however the time it takes me to dry and straighten my hair is less than desirable. After having my hair chemically straightened at two salons previously I was on the search for somewhere new to try and I came across Delilah’s website.
