Introducing Peppermint Cream: The Best Curl Cream for Afro Textured Hair

The Original, And The Best!

Peppermint Cream was developed by Mr.D in 2018 because he saw a gap in the market for the best curl cream for Afro textured hair. The need for a curl cream that treated the hair, while also styling it was obvious. Time and again, Mr.D received complaints in the salon. His clients were having to use far too many products on a daily basis to keep their curly and Afro hair looking top-notch, and feeling soft and hydrated.

Peppermint Cream is sorbelene based. This means that it’s highly conditioning but still light. Peppermint Essential Oil keeps the hair and scalp fresh and smelling minty and clean all day (or week!) long. Peppermint oil is also incredible for treating dandruff, or keeping it at bay.

Moisturized, Nourished and Soft to the Touch

The main oils in our luscious, rich Peppermint Cream are olive, sunflower and jojoba. All of these oils are designed to keep the hair moisturized, nourished and soft to the touch. Meanwhile, the beeswax and conditioners protect the hair cuticle and provide hold. This is sure to keep your Afro hairstyle bouncy and strong for as long as you want to wear it!

Most of our clients find that they only need to apply Peppermint Cream after a curly wash cycle. Then, they can spritz their curly hair down with water every couple of days to refresh and reactivate the product.

The best thing about Peppermint Cream is its ability to tackle coarse curls without weighing your curly hairstyle down. The oils and conditioners soften the hair shaft and cuticle to make your curls more pliable and soft,  balancing out all that volume! No more flat and lifeless Afro hair. Peppermint Cream lets you have your cake and eat it too!

As with all Delilah Creams, $1 from every jar sold goes to Hair3Rs to help fund projects to end family violence. Hair3Rs is a program developed by FVREE to help salon professionals learn to recognize, respond and refer to the signs of family violence in their clients. Mr.D is a proud Hair3Rs ambassador.

SOFTNESS + VOLUME = A HAPPY AFRO! Happy wearing folks 🙂
