Mr.D—a curly hair and dry-cutting specialist and educator, as well as the owner of Delilah Hair Studio in Brunswick East in Melbourne—saw a massive gap in the market. Whenever he asked clients how they liked their curls best, without fail, they tell him that their curls always looked their finest after a day at the beach!
And so, Mr.D created the ever popular Sea Salt Cream. A rich, thick, delicious paste that gives all his clients those tousled coils without the dryness and sun exposure of a visit to the surf and sand.
The cream had a big task! It had to suit all curl types, treat the hair while it styled, and be free from all those nasty ingredients! Sea Salt Cream gives fine curly hair a massive boost without the weight. It gives coarse curly hair softness and control. And, for Afro curly hair, it delivers movement and curl definition.
With essential oils of grapefruit and lime, you get a citrus blast when you open the glass jar. A hint of beeswax on a sorbelene base adds condition and natural hold. Grapeseed oil for hydration and moisture, and Kaolin Clay and Australian Sea Salt for the curl separation and beachy goodness!
Sea Salt Cream is applied to wet, clean hair. A small pea-size amount is worked through each layer of curls. You can either let your hair dry naturally, or give it a boost with a diffuser. It really is that simple to use! Sea salt Curl Cream is soft to the touch, so you can run your hands through your hair and there will be ZERO sticky residue. Each day, you can give your hair a light spritz with water to reactivate the curl cream. This works perfectly if you like a weekly curly wash!
All Delilah Curl Creams are hand made by Mr.D himself in his Footscray studio. The creams are hand mixed and pot set, cooled at room temperature and hand labelled. Keeping the footprint small!
